Wolverhampton Grand Theatre has been entertaining audiences from across the region and beyond since 1894.  It receives a wide range of major touring productions including drama, musicals, ballet, dance, opera, variety, concerts, children's shows and one of the biggest pantomimes in the UK. 


As a registered charity, the Grand Theatre provides a range of inspirational and creative workshops and activities for schools, organisations and the wider community as well as corporate hospitality and venue hire for local businesses.  Admired by performers and audiences alike for its intimate three-tiered Victorian auditorium, the Grand will be celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2019.

Giffords Recycling Ltd was originally set up in 1983 as West Bromwich Pallets Ltd in a coal yard in West Bromwich to refurbish and sell used wooden pallets. In 1992 as a direct result of seeking an alternative use for end of life wood and wooden pallets the Company expanded into the production and marketing of wood-fibre products. Since then the Company has relocated several times but always remained in the Black Country.


Giffords are still supplying and supporting some of our existing customers from the early days as well as a growing customer database, providing them with a solution for removing wood-waste from their premise which was destined for landfill and turning their waste into revenue. Giffords is a passionate Black Country Company that has succeeded because the Black Country has supported us. We fulfil our promises.




The Chamber of Commerce and BT Local Business have great synergy  in the way the look at local business communities. We both  have a mission is to promote and meet the needs of business and industry across the Black Country ensuring we help them proper and grow.
